Academics

The school adheres to the curriculum prescribed by NCERT, but at the same time adapts it to the needs of students, keeping in mind the diversity of individual talent and aptitude. It is reviewed and revisited regularly to incorporate changes and make improvements.

Courses & Classes

As our school is recognized up to class 10th level by the Directorate of Education GNCT Delhi, we have classes from class 1st to Class 10th. We strictly observe the class strength as per the Government Norms. Since the Modern Mission is affiliated with CBSE up to Secondary Level we follow the CBSE guidelines for courses and we teach NCERT books.

Admission Form

For admission, Veer Public School strictly follows the rules and guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education Delhi and CBSE by laws. There is a prescribed form for registration. EWS students are admitted as per guidelines of the Directorate of Education GNCT Delhi.

Curriculum & Methodology

Subjects taught in classes Junior Classes are English, Hindi, Mathematics and Environmental Science. The presence of two teachers in each pre-primary class room ensures joyful, hands-on and effective learning.

Students of Senior Classes study English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science.

Text book lessons are supplemented by practice work sheets, project work, audio-visual aid and hands-on experience through excursions. Monthly assignments are given to students, in which work target for all subjects is stated. The aim is to strengthen the innate capacities of students so that they feel confident and enjoy their days at school.

Assessment

The school follows a system of continuous and comprehensive evaluation through oral and written assignments, project work and observational activities. The Academic Session is divided into two terms: April to September and October to March.
